I just learned Gene Sams from Sun River passed away yesterday from an apparent heart attack. Gene was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. A true Gentleman who will be missed by everyone who ever had the chance to meet or play with him.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Gene. I had the privilege of playing with him in the recent SunRiver tournament. What a nice gentleman and a fun partner. He will be missed!
